I tried melatonin prior years and did nothing to sleep. Cymbalta is a new antidepressant. I could not understand me angry. nervous and can not sleep. If you are having trouble sleeping with this med, you should be able to try Tylenol PM. Or am Advil. If these do not work for you, call your doctor. I do not know how long it took symbalta, but the side effects go along, and we can only try to treat temporaroly side effects. May or they need to switch to another drug. I for Zoloft.
